One of Iceland's most historically significant hot springs — the medieval bathing pool of the great saga writer Snorri Sturluson, who soaked here in the 13th century. Connected to Snorri's farmstead by a subterranean tunnel, Snorralaug is a circular stone pool fed by natural springs at around 35°C. A place of genuine historic weight, free to visit beside the fascinating Snorrastofa cultural centre.
