🇬🇧 Haar Sauna

The UK's most northerly dedicated outdoor sauna, sited on the crofting land beside the iconic St Ninian's Isle tombolo — Shetland's most famous beach, where a sandy isthmus connects the main island to the isle at low tide. Haar Sauna (haar = sea mist in Scots) is a lovingly designed mobile sauna with alder benches, Scottish Redwood interior and an Aberdeenshire-grown larch exterior housing a HUUM wood-fired Estonian stove. Up to six people per session. Specialist options include Women's Hour, MENdful men's health sessions, LGBTQ sessions, yoga + sauna, and community sessions. Listed on VisitScotland and Shetland.org.
